Tiny Tees™

Tiny Hands. Big Smiles. First Golf Memories.

There are some childhood memories that quietly stay with us forever.

The first time they rode a bicycle without training wheels. The first fish they caught on a family vacation. The first marshmallow they roasted over a campfire. Years later, those aren't just moments anymore. They're stories that get told around dinner tables, laughed about during family gatherings, and remembered long after the toys have been packed away. At Florida Junior Golf, we believe a child's very first golf swing belongs on that list. Not because it has to be perfect, and certainly not because anyone is keeping score, but because there is something incredibly special about watching a little golfer grip a club for the very first time, swing with everything they've got, and then immediately turn around with the biggest smile just to make sure Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, or another special grown-up was watching. That's why we created Tiny Tees™. It's a place where toddlers and preschoolers discover the game of golf through laughter, imagination, movement, and play while learning real golf fundamentals one tiny swing at a time. Every grip, every putt, every high five, and every little celebration happens with the people they love standing right beside them. Because before there are tournaments, scorecards, or trophies... There are tiny hands. Big smiles. And first golf memories. And don't be surprised if your little golfer insists on carrying their putter everywhere they go after the first class.

Tiny Hands.

Big Smiles.

First Golf Memories.

There are some childhood memories that quietly stay with us forever.

Imagine Thursday Morning...

The sunrise peaking through the palm trees, coffee brewing, and your wee little one running through the house to find their golf clubs and ball.

For just a little while, the busy schedules, grocery lists, laundry waiting at home, and endless notifications on our phones seem to fade into the background. Instead, your attention shifts to the little hand reaching for yours as you walk toward the putting green at Royal St. Cloud Golf Links.

Your little golfer is proudly carrying a golf club that's almost as tall as they are.

They may have practiced in the living room all week. They may have never held a club before. Either way, this morning feels like an adventure.

Coach Roger is already waiting with a smile, greeting every family by name while kneeling down to say hello to each little golfer.

Before long, children are introducing themselves, parents are chatting like old friends, and someone is already giggling because Coach Roger has asked everyone to help put their golf clubs to sleep before it's time to wake them up for another adventure.

The first golf ball rolls across the green.

A tiny putter makes contact.

Mom cheers.

Dad claps.

Grandma reaches for her phone because she doesn't want to miss a second of it.

No one is worried about perfect swings. Nobody is comparing children or keeping score. Every little victory is celebrated because, at this age, rolling a golf ball a few feet across the green can feel just as exciting as winning a championship.

Somewhere between the laughter, the high fives, and the imagination, something wonderful begins to happen.

Children start believing they can do hard things. Parents begin making friends with other families. Thursday mornings become something everyone looks forward to.

And before you know it, your little golfer is asking...

"Is it Tiny Tees day today?"

We hear that one a lot... and honestly, we never get tired of it.

The Cool Thing About Golf...

There are plenty of wonderful activities for young children, and every family finds the things that fit them best. Some children dance. Some love soccer. Others spend their weekends at the ball field or swimming pool. Golf is a little different. It's one of the very few sports that grows with your family instead of away from it. A toddler can roll a golf ball across the putting green with Mom today, spend Saturday mornings playing nine holes with Dad a few years from now, enjoy weekend rounds with Grandpa as they get older, and one day introduce the game to children of their own. Very few activities have a way of connecting generations quite like golf does. That's one of the reasons we love introducing children to the game while they're still little. Not because we expect every child to become a tournament golfer. Not because we think every family should spend every weekend on the golf course. Simply because golf creates opportunities to spend time together. It gives families a reason to slow down, go outside, put their phones away, and enjoy each other's company for a few hours. Along the way, children learn how to encourage others, celebrate good shots, laugh at the bad ones, and discover that sometimes the best part of golf isn't the golf at all. It's the conversations between shots. It's the memories made walking down the fairway. It's hearing your child proudly say, "Watch this!" before they take another swing. One day, your little golfer may beat you. They'll probably remind you about it, too.  But long before that day ever comes, you'll always remember who was standing beside them when they hit their very first golf ball. And somehow... that's the shot that always ends up meaning the most.

We Don't Rush Childhood Here.

One of the first things parents notice about Tiny Tees is that it doesn't feel like a traditional golf lesson.

Of course, your little golfer is learning real golf from the very beginning. Coach Roger introduces the grip, stance, putting, chipping, and swinging in ways that are simple, playful, and just right for growing minds and bodies. Parents are part of every step, learning alongside their child so they can celebrate each new skill together long after Thursday morning is over.

Some lessons begin with waking up our golf clubs after they took a little nap. Other mornings, we might roll golf balls through colorful tunnels, aim for giant targets, or discover that today's class has somehow welcomed an elephant, a dragon, and a unicorn onto the putting green.

If you're wondering whether that last part is true... just ask one of our Tiny Tees families.

What looks like a game to a two-year-old is often one of the most important lessons they'll learn all week.

Every time they line up a putt, they're learning balance and coordination. Every time they wait for a friend to take a turn, they're practicing patience. Every swing strengthens confidence, focus, and body awareness, while every high five reminds them that golf is just as much about encouraging others as it is hitting a golf ball.

The beautiful part is that none of it feels like work.

Children aren't worried about getting it right. They're simply having fun.

They're exploring. They're laughing. They're discovering what they can do. Somewhere between the giggles and the golf balls rolling across the green, something wonderful begins to happen.

They start believing in themselves.

Not because someone told them they should.

Because they just did something they didn't think they could do.

And honestly... watching that happen never gets old.

Around here, we celebrate tiny victories... because those are usually the ones that grow into the biggest ones.

Cute Toddler

Tiny Tees Tots is where curiosity takes the lead.

At this age, the golf course becomes a place to explore, move, laugh, and discover. Every class is filled with imagination, playful games, movement, and gentle introductions to golf, all while a parent or another special grown-up stays right beside their little golfer. Some children are happiest rolling a golf ball through a tunnel. Others proudly carry their putter from one activity to the next like they've been golfing for years.

No matter how the morning unfolds, every tiny swing, every giggle, and every high five becomes another memory you'll both carry home together.

And yes... don't be surprised if your toddler asks to sleep with their putter afterward.

Little Girl Praying

As children grow, so does their curiosity.

Tiny Tees Juniors builds on that excitement by introducing more golf skills while keeping everything playful, encouraging, and age-appropriate. Preschoolers begin learning the foundations of grip, stance, putting, chipping, and swinging through creative games and activities designed to keep little golfers smiling from beginning to end.

Parents remain part of every adventure, celebrating every first solid putt, every successful chip, and every moment their child discovers they can do something new.

Because when learning feels like play, children don't just learn golf...

They begin believing they can learn anything.

Fair warning... there's a good chance you'll find yourself practicing putting in the living room together before long.
