Welcome to Florida Junior Golf.
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Florida Junior Golf website, programs, lessons, camps, teams, tournaments, events, mentorship opportunities, educational activities, products, and related services.
Throughout these Terms, “Florida Junior Golf,” “FLJG,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Florida Junior Golf.
By using our website, registering for a program, purchasing a service, enrolling a participant, attending an event, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms.
If you are registering a child, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the participating minor.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. ABOUT FLORIDA JUNIOR GOLF
Florida Junior Golf is a Florida-based junior golf training and youth development organization serving children, teens, families, and golfers through golf instruction, team golf, camps, tournaments, events, mentorship opportunities, educational programs, and other golf-related experiences.
Our mission extends beyond teaching the golf swing. We use golf as a tool to help young people develop confidence, responsibility, sportsmanship, resilience, leadership, respect, and life skills both on and off the course.
Programs, services, age requirements, locations, schedules, and availability may vary.
2. PARENTS, LEGAL GUARDIANS & MINORS
Children and minors may not independently enter into agreements with Florida Junior Golf.
All registrations, purchases, enrollments, waivers, permissions, and other agreements involving a minor must be completed or authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
By registering a minor, you represent that:
-
You are the participant’s parent or legal guardian, or you have legal authority to register the participant.
-
You have authority to accept these Terms on the participant’s behalf.
-
Information you provide is accurate and current.
-
You will provide Florida Junior Golf with information reasonably necessary for the participant’s safety and participation.
-
You understand that participation may require additional waivers, releases, permissions, medical information, or program-specific agreements.
Parents and guardians are responsible for reviewing program requirements before registration.
3. PROGRAM REGISTRATION & ENROLLMENT
Enrollment in Florida Junior Golf programs is subject to availability and any applicable age, skill, safety, or program requirements.

4. PROGRAMS, SCHEDULES, COACHES & LOCATIONS
Golf programs are affected by weather, golf-course operations, tournaments, course conditions, daylight, staffing, facility availability, safety concerns, and circumstances outside our control.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify registered families of significant changes.
A schedule change does not automatically create a right to a refund unless otherwise provided by the applicable program or refund policy.
5. WEATHER, COURSE CONDITIONS & CANCELLATIONS
Golf is an outdoor sport, and Florida weather can change quickly.
Florida Junior Golf may delay, shorten, relocate, reschedule, modify, or cancel an activity because of:

Heavy rain
-
Extreme heat
-
Unsafe course conditions
-
Golf-course closures

Other circumstances that may affect participant safety
Safety comes first.
Florida Junior Golf will determine whether an FLJG-operated activity can safely proceed, subject to the rules and decisions of the golf course or facility where the activity is being held.
Weather-related credits, rescheduling, refunds, or make-up opportunities, if available, will be handled according to the policy applicable to that specific program.
6. PAYMENTS & FEES
Prices for lessons, programs, teams, camps, tournaments, events, merchandise, and other services will be disclosed before purchase or registration whenever applicable.
Payment may be required in full or according to a stated payment schedule.
Participants may not be permitted to attend or continue in a program when required payments, funding approvals, registrations, or documentation remain incomplete.
Florida Junior Golf may change future pricing at any time. A pricing change will not retroactively change the price of a completed purchase unless otherwise agreed.
7. STEP UP FOR STUDENTS & THIRD-PARTY FUNDING
Florida Junior Golf may participate as a provider for Step Up For Students or other scholarship, educational, reimbursement, or third-party funding programs.
Eligibility, reimbursement, approval, available funds, covered services, purchasing procedures, documentation requirements, and payment decisions are controlled by the applicable third-party program and may change.
Florida Junior Golf cannot guarantee that a purchase or service will be approved or reimbursed by a third-party funding organization.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for understanding and following the requirements of their funding program.
If funding is denied, reversed, reduced, or otherwise unavailable, the parent or guardian may remain financially responsible for services received to the extent permitted by law and the applicable program rules.
8. REFUNDS, CREDITS, MISSED LESSONS & MAKE-UPS
Refund, cancellation, credit, transfer, and make-up policies may vary depending on the program.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, missed lessons, practices, tournaments, events, or program days caused by personal scheduling conflicts, vacations, transportation issues, forgotten appointments, or other participant-related circumstances are generally non-refundable.
Private lessons and other scheduled services may have separate cancellation or rescheduling requirements communicated during booking.
Programs operated by third parties may be subject to the third party’s cancellation and refund policies.
Where a specific program page, registration agreement, contract, or written policy contains terms different from this general section, the more specific program terms will apply to that program.
9. HEALTH & PARTICIPANT READINESS
By registering yourself or a minor participant, you represent that the participant is reasonably capable of participating in the selected golf activity.
Parents and guardians are responsible for informing Florida Junior Golf of information reasonably necessary for safe participation, including relevant allergies, physical restrictions, accessibility needs, or emergency considerations.
Florida Junior Golf coaches and staff are not medical professionals and do not provide medical diagnoses or medical treatment.

Refunds may not be provided when removal results from a serious or repeated conduct violation.
15. DROP-OFF, PICK-UP & SUPERVISION
Parents and guardians are responsible for following the arrival, departure, drop-off, pick-up, and supervision requirements communicated for each program.
A child should not be left unattended before a program begins unless Florida Junior Golf has specifically authorized drop-off for that program.
