REFUND, CANCELLATION & MAKE-UP POLICY
Last Updated: August 26, 2026
At Florida Junior Golf, LLC, we understand that life happens.
Kids get sick. Families travel. Florida weather changes quickly. Schedules change. Golf courses sometimes have events or conditions outside anyone’s control.
At the same time, when you register for a Florida Junior Golf program, lesson, team, camp, tournament, or event, we reserve space, coaching time, facility access, equipment, staffing, and other resources based on that commitment.
For that reason, Florida Junior Golf, LLC generally operates under a credit, transfer, or rescheduling policy rather than a cash-refund policy.
Please read this policy before registering or purchasing.
1. GENERAL NO-REFUND POLICY
Unless otherwise specifically stated in writing, all registrations, program fees, lesson packages, team fees, camps, clinics, tournaments, events, and other services are non-refundable after purchase.
Instead of issuing a cash refund when circumstances reasonably allow, Florida Junior Golf, LLC may offer:
-
Rescheduling
-
A make-up opportunity
-
Transfer to another eligible Florida Junior Golf program or service
-
Florida Junior Golf account credit
The option available will depend on the service purchased and the circumstances involved.
Our goal is to be fair to our families while also protecting the coaching time, program space, staffing, course commitments, and expenses already reserved or paid by Florida Junior Golf, LLC.
2. FLORIDA JUNIOR GOLF CREDIT
When Florida Junior Golf, LLC approves a credit, the value may generally be applied toward another eligible Florida Junior Golf service.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, approved credits must be used within 45 calendar days following the originally scheduled service date or the conclusion of the original program, whichever applies.
Credits that are not used within the applicable period may expire.
Credits:
-
Have no cash value
-
Cannot be redeemed for cash
-
Cannot generally be transferred to another family
-
May be used only for eligible Florida Junior Golf, LLC services
-
Cannot necessarily be applied to third-party charges, memberships, tournament fees, merchandise, or outside organizations
-
Are subject to availability
An approved credit does not guarantee availability in a particular lesson time, team, camp, event, tournament, or program.
3. PRIVATE LESSON CANCELLATIONS
Private lesson times are specifically reserved for that golfer or family.
We require at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a private lesson.
When at least 24 hours' notice is provided, the lesson may generally be rescheduled according to availability and the terms of the applicable lesson package.
4. LATE CANCELLATIONS
A cancellation made less than 24 hours before a scheduled private lesson is considered a late cancellation.
Late cancellations generally result in the lesson being counted as used.
We understand that genuine emergencies happen.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC may make reasonable exceptions for extraordinary circumstances at our discretion, but repeated late cancellations may not be eligible for exceptions.
5. NO-SHOWS
If a participant does not attend a scheduled lesson and Florida Junior Golf, LLC was not notified in advance, the appointment will be considered a no-show.
No-show lessons are considered used and are not eligible for:
-
Refund
-
Credit
-
Transfer
-
Make-up lesson
Our coaches reserved that time specifically for the participant and were available to provide the lesson.
6. LATE ARRIVALS
Please arrive on time and ready to begin.
If a participant arrives late, the lesson will generally still end at its originally scheduled time because another lesson or program may follow.
A late arrival does not qualify for a partial refund, credit, or additional lesson time.
If Florida Junior Golf, LLC causes a significant delay, we will make reasonable efforts to provide the missed instructional time or another appropriate solution.
7. FIXED WEEKLY LESSON TIMES
Families who have a recurring weekly lesson time are reserving an ongoing spot in Coach Roger's or another Florida Junior Golf coach's schedule.
Consistent attendance is important for both player development and scheduling.
When a family needs to miss a recurring lesson, the normal cancellation requirements still apply.
Make-up availability is not guaranteed and depends on coaching schedules, course availability, daylight, weather, and other program commitments.
Repeated cancellations may result in the recurring time being released and offered to another family.
8. LESSON PACKAGES
Lesson packages are designed to encourage consistency and continued player development.
Unless otherwise stated at purchase:
-
Lesson packages are non-refundable.
-
Used lessons cannot be refunded.
-
Unused lessons may not be converted to cash.
-
Lessons are subject to scheduling availability.
-
Cancellation and no-show requirements still apply to each scheduled lesson.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC may establish an expiration or completion period for lesson packages. Any applicable expiration period will be communicated at purchase or registration.
9. GROUP PROGRAMS, TINY TEES, CLINICS & CLASSES
Registration in a group program reserves one of a limited number of spaces.
Because that space may prevent another family from registering, missed classes are generally non-refundable.
If a participant misses a class because of:
-
Illness
-
Vacation
-
Family scheduling
-
Transportation problems
-
School activities
-
Personal commitments
-
Other participant-related circumstances
Florida Junior Golf, LLC is not required to provide a refund or individual make-up class.
When reasonable and available, we may offer another appropriate class, session, program, or Florida Junior Golf credit.
Availability is not guaranteed.
10. TEAM GOLF & PGA JR. LEAGUE
Team programs involve seasonal planning, coaching commitments, practices, tournaments, course arrangements, uniforms or materials, registrations, and other expenses.
For this reason, team and seasonal coaching fees are generally non-refundable once the season has begun or Florida Junior Golf, LLC has incurred costs associated with the player's participation.
Missing a practice, match, tournament, or team activity does not normally create eligibility for a refund or prorated credit.
When appropriate and reasonably available, Florida Junior Golf, LLC may offer another training opportunity or credit at its discretion.
Fees paid directly to an outside organization, including applicable membership or registration fees, are subject to that organization's refund and cancellation policies.
11. CAMPS
Camp registrations reserve staffing and participant capacity in advance.
Unless a camp-specific policy states otherwise, camp fees paid directly to Florida Junior Golf, LLC are non-refundable.
When sufficient notice is provided and space or another eligible program is available, Florida Junior Golf, LLC may allow an eligible registration to be transferred or converted to credit.
Programs operated, registered, or paid through a third-party camp provider are governed by that provider's cancellation, transfer, and refund policies.
12. TOURNAMENTS & SPECIAL EVENTS
Tournament and special-event registrations may involve costs paid in advance to:
-
Golf courses
-
Tournament organizations
-
Governing organizations
-
Vendors
-
Staff
-
Sponsors or partners
-
Other third parties
Because many of these costs become non-refundable to Florida Junior Golf, LLC, tournament and special-event fees are generally non-refundable.
Where possible, Florida Junior Golf, LLC may offer a credit or transfer for the portion of a payment that has not already been committed or paid to another party.
Some tournament registrations may be completely non-transferable or non-refundable because of third-party rules.
Any specific tournament terms provided during registration will control for that event.
13. WEATHER & LIGHTNING
Golf is an outdoor sport, and Florida weather can change quickly.
A little rain does not necessarily mean golf is canceled.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC and/or the host golf facility will determine whether conditions are safe for play or instruction.
Activities may be:
-
Delayed
-
Shortened
-
Modified
-
Moved to another practice area
-
Rescheduled
-
Canceled
When Florida Junior Golf, LLC cancels a lesson or program session because of unsafe weather, we will generally attempt to provide a reasonable make-up, rescheduled session, alternative activity, or eligible credit.
A cash refund is generally not the first remedy for a weather cancellation.
14. GOLF COURSE CLOSURES OR FACILITY CHANGES
Florida Junior Golf, LLC does not control every decision made by the golf courses or facilities where our programs operate.
A facility may occasionally close, restrict access, host another event, modify available areas, or make operational changes.
When this occurs, Florida Junior Golf, LLC may:
-
Move the activity to another area
-
Modify the lesson or activity
-
Change the time
-
Reschedule
-
Offer an eligible credit
These circumstances do not automatically create a right to a cash refund.
15. CANCELLATION BY FLORIDA JUNIOR GOLF, LLC
If Florida Junior Golf, LLC cancels a paid service and cannot reasonably provide:
-
The purchased service,
-
A rescheduled service,
-
A comparable replacement service, or
-
An eligible credit that can reasonably be used,
we will work with the family to determine an appropriate resolution.
If Florida Junior Golf, LLC permanently cancels a program before providing the purchased services and no reasonable replacement or credit can be offered, a refund may be provided for the applicable unprovided portion.
Nothing in this policy allows Florida Junior Golf, LLC to retain payment for services in circumstances where applicable law requires a refund.
16. PROGRAM TRANSFERS
We would much rather help a family move into another Florida Junior Golf opportunity than lose the value of what they purchased.
When approved, an unused eligible balance may be transferred to another Florida Junior Golf service, such as:
-
Private instruction
-
Another eligible group program
-
A future clinic
-
Team golf
-
An eligible camp
-
Another Florida Junior Golf experience
Transfers depend on:
-
Availability
-
Program eligibility
-
Age requirements
-
Price differences
-
Funding restrictions
-
Third-party requirements
-
Whether Florida Junior Golf has already incurred non-refundable expenses
If the new program costs more, the family will be responsible for the difference.
An unused balance generally will not be paid back in cash if the replacement program costs less. When appropriate, the remaining eligible amount may stay as Florida Junior Golf credit through the applicable expiration date.
17. STEP UP FOR STUDENTS PURCHASES
Services purchased through Step Up For Students are also subject to applicable Step Up For Students requirements.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC cannot convert Step Up funding into cash for a family.
Credits, cancellations, substitutions, transfers, refunds, and unused balances involving Step Up funding must comply with the rules of the applicable scholarship or funding program.
When a Step Up-funded service needs to be changed, Florida Junior Golf, LLC will work with the family within the options legally and administratively available through the program.
18. THIRD-PARTY FEES
Certain Florida Junior Golf opportunities may include or require payments to outside organizations.
Examples may include:
-
Golf-course charges
-
Tournament registrations
-
Membership fees
-
Camp registrations
-
Governing-body fees
-
Outside program fees
Florida Junior Golf, LLC cannot guarantee refunds for money paid to or committed to another organization.
19. MERCHANDISE & EQUIPMENT
Golf clubs, training aids, clothing, equipment, and other physical products may have separate return, exchange, manufacturer warranty, or final-sale terms.
This Refund, Cancellation & Make-Up Policy primarily applies to Florida Junior Golf services and programs.
Any applicable product return policy will be provided separately or at the time of purchase.
20. REMOVAL FOR CONDUCT OR SAFETY
Florida Junior Golf, LLC may remove a participant, parent, guardian, spectator, or guest for serious or repeated violations of our conduct or safety expectations.
Removal may occur for behavior including:
-
Bullying
-
Harassment
-
Threatening behavior
-
Violence
-
Dangerous conduct
-
Intentional property damage
-
Repeated disruption
-
Abusive treatment of players, coaches, families, volunteers, or golf-course staff
-
Serious disregard for golf-course or Florida Junior Golf safety rules
A participant removed for a serious or repeated conduct violation is generally not entitled to a refund.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC may determine whether any remaining eligible balance may be transferred or credited depending on the circumstances.
21. INJURY, ILLNESS & SERIOUS FAMILY CIRCUMSTANCES
We understand that sometimes something bigger than a scheduling conflict happens.
If a participant experiences a significant injury, extended illness, family emergency, relocation, or another extraordinary circumstance that prevents continued participation, please contact us.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC may consider an extended credit, program transfer, pause, or another reasonable accommodation on a case-by-case basis.
Documentation may be requested when appropriate.
These situations do not automatically guarantee a cash refund, but we will make reasonable efforts to find a fair solution.
22. CREDITS ARE NOT CASH
Florida Junior Golf credits:
-
Are not cash
-
Cannot be redeemed for cash
-
Do not earn interest
-
Are not gift cards unless specifically identified as such
-
May have an expiration date
-
May be restricted to Florida Junior Golf, LLC services
-
May be subject to Step Up or other third-party funding restrictions
Credits should be scheduled before their expiration date.
23. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES
No policy can anticipate every situation.
Florida Junior Golf, LLC reserves the right to make reasonable exceptions when unusual circumstances warrant doing so.
Making an exception for one family or circumstance does not permanently change this policy and does not require Florida Junior Golf, LLC to make the same exception in every future situation.
24. PROGRAM-SPECIFIC POLICIES
Certain programs, tournaments, camps, teams, events, packages, or special opportunities may have their own cancellation, transfer, credit, or refund requirements.
When a program-specific written policy differs from this general policy, the more specific terms provided for that program will apply.
Families are responsible for reviewing applicable terms before completing registration.
25. ACCEPTANCE OF THIS POLICY
By purchasing, registering for, or participating in a Florida Junior Golf, LLC service, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review this Refund, Cancellation & Make-Up Policy.
Completing a registration or purchase indicates acceptance of the policy applicable at the time of purchase.
26. QUESTIONS OR SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES
If something happens, please communicate with us.
Our goal is not to punish families when life gets messy.
Our goal is to protect the limited spaces, coaching time, course commitments, and resources that make our programs possible while finding a reasonable way for your junior golfer to continue benefiting from what you purchased.
